We offer the traditional Property Management services including:

In addition, we have enhanced these services by managing Investor risk and providing a complete end to end Property Management solution including the following:

Debit order collection system - you receive your rent on the 1st of the month irrespective of whether the Tenant pays

Landlord Property Expense management paid and recovered

Tenant default risk management

Superior web based Property Management systems:

Turnaround service - at end of lease minor maintenance e.g. painting and cleaning of carpets will be arranged at Landlord's expense

Monthly Statements - accurate and complete statements will be emailed, faxed and SMS'ed for your convenience.

Maintenance - the status of maintenance is being emailed, faxed and SMS'ed so at all time you know the progress.

Invitations to regular Investor Group meetings/presentations - as a RS Landlord, you will be notified of Investor Group meetings which are organised and hosted by one of our Business Partners. These forums, currently held in Cape Town, are where the latest residential and commercial property investment ideas are exchanged.

All the above services come at a cost of 12.5% of the monthly rental. This is negotiable dependant on the number of properties in your portfolio.

We ensure prompt and professional services in sourcing a suitable property to meet your requirements. We believe that meeting the tenant's needs are key to our business objectives - from finding the suitable property - to ensuring a properly maintained property through out the duration of your stay.

In addition we offer these value added services:

Rental Guarantee - to give you the peace of mind in case you can't pay the rent due to unforeseen circumstances.

This takes the form of a Rental Guarantee, if in the case of any of the following events Rent Smart will ensure payment of Rental for a 6 month period:

  • Death
  • Disability
  • Dread Disease
  • Retrenchment
